Parents It's healthier and cheaper to prepare foods at home together as a family activity.

           A quick snack, side dish, or a meal that I put together is

                  two packets of ramen noodles (beef, chicken, and pork) 

                  two medium chicken breasts   (or 1/2 of pound of beef stew or italian sasage)

                  1/2 packet any variety frozen vegetables

Brown chicken breasts season with a little garlic and pepper and cook throughly, set aside to cool. Cook ramen noodles according to package states adding frozen vegatables. I usually cook vegetables for 5 mins and then add noodles for 3-4 minutes. While that's cooking I slice up chicken for a soup. You can leave chicken whole and serve on plates with ramen noodles and  fresh fruit of any kind. My kids love this. Too salty add less of the chicken seasoning packet.

Many of times I cook extra meat of any kind slice or dice and set aside for quick lunches and dinners with less sodium.
